BCPL Boundaries
    The BCPL has always been asked where our boundaries run compared to other leagues in the area. In most cases we are very close to the other leagues but we due vary in some ways. To help you understand our boundaries we've created maps for each of our areas:

SUNDAY, JANUARY 22
New Managers for the 2012 season...
     The Bay County PONY League is announcing new Managers for the 2012 season. The Executive Board of the League has looked at all the candidate's and awarded teams to the following individuals.
Bruce Mann - DeShano Homes
Joe Markey - Village Green
Rick Sella - Elk's Lodge #88
Todd Bruzewski - Northern Bay Area Team (Sponsor to be determined later)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 22
The 2012 Bat Rule...
     We have had a lot of questions regarding the 2012 Bat Rule change in Pony Baseball. Below is the Bat Rule in a very condensed form. Anybody wishing to see the full rule are asked to go to "pony.org" to see the full rule.

1. 2-3/4” bats are illegal in all divisions of PONY Baseball.

2. 2-5/8” bats are legal in all divisions of PONY Baseball. If a 2 5/8” bat is a -3,  it must be BBCOR certified (stamped on the bat). Currently there is no testing protocol for -5, -7, -9, etc.  They are legal.

3. 2-1/4” bats are legal in all divisions of PONY Baseball. They must have a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less stamped on the bat.  In addition the bat must be stamped “approved for play in PONY Baseball.”  There will be at least three other youth baseball organizations listed on the bat:  Babe Ruth, Dixie, Little league.


MONDAY, JANUARY 16
BCPL Registration is open!
     The 2012 Bay County PONY League Player Registration is now open. ALL players are required to register for the 2012 season. Just select the REGISTRATION Tab on this page to complete the process.
     ALL returning players will need to use their log-in and password from 2011 to register for the 2012 season. If you are having a problem please contact us at "bcponypres@gmail.com". State the issue you are having and we will get you an answer just as soon as we can.
